Per-Song Notes

• You can now add a short note to each song in your set list (up to 100 characters)
• Tap the note area below a song to start typing
• Great for reminders like key changes, intros, or special arrangements

Set List Remarks

• A new Remarks field is available when creating or editing a set list
• Use it to jot down occasion details, team members, or anything relevant to the whole set

View Page Updates

• The set list view now shows the date it was created
• Remarks appear below the set title
• Song notes appear above each song's chords
• Created by and date created are now on the same line for a cleaner look

Guest Set List Create Page

• Redesigned to match the modern dark UI used on the logged-in create page

Improved Search

• Search now handles hyphens and slashes in keywords — searching "here with me" will find "here-with-me" and vice versa

Chord Diagrams

Wondering how to play a chord? Now you can find out without leaving the page.

• Hover over any chord (desktop) or tap it (mobile) to see a guitar chord diagram pop up
• Many chords have multiple voicings — use the ‹ and › arrows to browse between them
• Slash chords like G/B or D/F# show the correct specific fingering, not just the base chord
• Works even after you transpose the song to a different key

Lyrics Only

Want to focus on the words without the chord clutter? Now you can.

• Hit Lyrics Only to hide all chord lines and read just the lyrics
• Hit Show Chords to bring them back
• Stays active even if you change the key

Bug Fixes

• Several chord diagrams were showing incorrect fingerings — 11 chords corrected including F, F#, Em, Dm, F#m, G#m, Fsus2, Fsus4, G#sus4, and C#dim
• Slash chords like Bb/F that appeared with extra spacing (e.g. Bb /F) now display correctly

User Accounts

You can now create a free account on ArkJuander!

• Register at /register — name, email, and password
• Login at /login — or use the account icon in the nav
• Your account comes with a personal Dashboard showing your activity at a glance:
  • Number of chord charts you've uploaded
  • Number of favorites saved
  • Number of set lists created
  • Total views your uploaded chords have received

My Chords

Logged-in users can now upload and manage their own chord charts.

• Upload a chord chart with title, artist, key, and chord content
• View your chords with the same transposition feature as the rest of the site
• Edit or delete your own submissions
• Chords go through an approval process before being published to the main song list
• Get notified when your chord is approved

Favorites

Save songs for quick access from your account.

• Heart icon on every song page — click to save to your favorites
• View all your saved songs at /my-favorites
• Search within your favorites list
• Remove individual songs or clear all at once

My Set Lists

Set lists created while logged in are now saved to your account.

• View, edit, and manage all your set lists from one place at /my-set-lists
• No more losing your set list link — everything is tied to your account
• When building a set list from your account, your own uploaded chords (even pending ones) are already searchable and usable — no need to wait for approval
• Anyone with the set list link can view all songs in it, including unpublished ones — your set list will never break during a gig

Notifications

• Get notified when your submitted chord chart is approved or has updates
• View all notifications at /my-notifications
• Unread notifications are highlighted

More by Artist

• Every song page now shows a "More by [Artist]" section below the chords
• Click the artist name to go to their full artist page

New Pages

Artist Pages

• Each artist now has their own page listing all their songs
• Browse all artists at /artists

Albums Page

• Browse all albums at /albums
• Individual album pages show all songs in that album with artwork

Auto Scroll

On Song Pages

• A floating control bar at the bottom of every song/chord page
• Hit Play and the page scrolls automatically — hands-free while you play
• Adjust the Speed slider (1–10) to match your tempo
• Hit Top to jump back to the start
• Auto-stops when the chords section ends

On Set List Pages

• Previous / Next song navigation buttons to move between songs
• Page scrolls to the song content when switching songs
• Auto scroll built into the song navigation bar — ▶ / ⏸ to start and stop; − / + to adjust speed
• Scroll stops automatically when you switch songs

Announcements

• Important site news now appears as a banner at the top of every page
• You can dismiss it — it won't reappear unless there's a new announcement

Survey Widget

• A small yes/no question may pop up at the bottom-right of the page
• Appears briefly after the page loads — answer it or ignore it
• You won't be asked the same question twice

Navigation & Search

• Search bar moved from the page body into the navigation bar
• On desktop: search icon in the top-right of the nav — click to expand
• On mobile: search input is inline in the nav bar, always visible
• Cleaner page layout as a result — more room for content

New Logo

• Fresh new logo and icon — updated across the whole site

Bug Fixes

• Chord transposition now correctly preserves line spacing
• Chords with a dash (-) are now supported (e.g. Am-G)
• Download page text corrected
• Various small layout and display fixes
